College Coaches Making Stops In NW Ohio

This week college coaches could make their rounds visiting recruits and watching workouts around the country. Coaches have spent some time in Northwest Ohio thus far into the week with more expected. So far here is what we know:

  • Head coaches from Duquesne and Richmond were in at Toledo St. Johns for ’18 F Vince Williams and ’18 G Houston King on Monday. Williams holds offers from both programs and they have made him a priority.


  • Head coach John Groce of Akron was at Toledo St. Johns on Tuesday to see Williams and King, Williams holds an offer.


  • Groce also made his way over to Maumee Valley Country Day High School to see ’20 G Zeb Jackson. Akron has already offered and have made him a focus of their recruiting moving forward.


  • Head coach Mike Rhoades of VCU is expected today at Toledo St. Johns for ’18 F Vince Williams, they have offered, and made Williams a priority over they past few months.
